Biden Admin Uses Taxpayer Money to Fund Program Teaching Kids to be LGBTQ Activists
The Biden administration has once again shown its support for the controversial LGBTQ agenda by bankrolling a program that pays kids to skip class and receive lessons on activism without their parents’ knowledge.
Under the guise of “helping LGBTQ-identifying youth cope with minority stress,” the program, titled Proud & Empowered (P&E), has received a whopping $2.5 million from the National Institute for Health (NIH). The program recruits students from a dozen schools to participate in a 10-week long intervention, which includes sessions on topics like “Coming Out” and “Queer History Jeopardy.”
What’s even more concerning is that parental permission is not required for students to participate in the program, as researchers feared it could put them at risk of “harassment, abuse, or expulsion from the parental home.” Incentives, including a $75 gift card and a $4,000 honorarium for schools, are also being offered to participants.

According to the grant description, the intervention seeks to create “sustainable change in school climate” and reduce “minority stress” among LGBTQ youth. However, this one-sided agenda, funded by taxpayer money, raises questions about the true intentions of the program and the potential influence it may have on vulnerable students.
Leading the study is Washington University professor Jeremy Goldbach, who has been continuously funded by federal agencies for his work on “minority stress and discrimination among LGBTQ+ children and adolescents.” Goldbach claims that the intervention is based on “thousands of kids’ input,” but it’s important to question who these “kids” are and if they truly represent the diverse voices within the LGBTQ community.
It’s time for the public to hold the Biden administration accountable for how their tax dollars are being spent. Funding a program that goes against the beliefs and values of many Americans is not only concerning but also a blatant misuse of government funds.
This latest move by the Biden administration only further proves their blatant disregard for the rights of parents and the well-being of our children. Let’s make our voices heard and demand that our taxpayer money is spent on programs that benefit all students, not just those pushing a specific agenda.
