During a recent podcast, liberal MSNBC host Jen Psaki once again attacked Republicans, this time going after South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace for introducing a resolution aimed at protecting women’s privacy in the Capitol. This comes after Democratic Rep-elect Sarah McBride became the first transgender member of Congress, raising concerns about bathroom access. But rather than focusing on important issues facing our nation, Psaki told Mace and Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene to “get a life.”
Psaki belittled Republicans, saying “this is the issue of the nation right now.” She mocked Mace’s efforts to protect women’s safety, saying “wait till they hear there are unisex bathrooms in some restaurants – it’s going to blow their freaking minds.” Psaki then insinuated that Mace’s concerns were politically motivated, accusing her of trying to score “MAGA creds.”
But Mace, a rape survivor herself, has legitimate fears about transgender bathroom access. She explained that she is “not going to stand for a man” being in women’s private spaces, as she knows firsthand how vulnerable women and girls can be. Mace also condemned the death threats she has received for her efforts to protect women, including one from a social media user who fantasized about bashing her head on a bathroom floor.
This is not the first time that transgender bathroom policies have caused concern. In Loudoun County, Virginia, a biological boy wearing a skirt raped a female student in a girls’ bathroom. The school concealed the incident from the community and even disputed that a sexual assault had taken place – all in the name of being “trans-inclusive.”
But rather than acknowledge these valid concerns, Psaki chose to mock and belittle Mace’s efforts. This is just another instance of liberal media attacking conservatives and refusing to have an honest dialogue about important issues.
It’s clear that Republican lawmakers like Mace are standing up for women’s rights and protection, while Democrats like Psaki are more interested in pushing their agenda and attacking anyone who disagrees with them. It’s time for the mainstream media to stop dismissing legitimate concerns and start having real conversations about the issues facing our nation.
