The liberal media, led by CNN, has once again shown its bias by promoting an app designed to obstruct federal immigration enforcement—an app created by a self-proclaimed “proud Antifa” activist. Joshua Aaron, the developer behind ICEBlock, openly advocates for the violent far-left movement, which has been responsible for riots, assaults on law enforcement, and millions in property damage across American cities. Despite this, CNN gave Aaron a platform to compare ICE officers to Nazis, further fueling the left’s anti-law enforcement narrative.
In a shocking display of hypocrisy, CNN defended its coverage by claiming, “There is nothing illegal about reporting the existence of this or any other app, nor does such reporting constitute promotion or other endorsement of the app by CNN.” Yet, by amplifying Aaron’s extremist views without proper scrutiny, the network effectively endorsed an app that ICE acting director Todd Lyons condemned as putting a “target on federal law enforcement officers’ backs.”
Aaron’s social media history reveals a disturbing pattern of radicalism. On X (formerly Twitter), he declared, “Once again we should all be #antifa. Why on earth would you support fascism?”—a common Antifa talking point that equates opposition to their violent tactics with supporting fascism. He also posted, “Ken Buck (R CO) explaining how horrible #AntifaTerrorists are & what they’re doing to our cities. THIS IS A LIE! Antifa isn’t an organization, it’s a belief.” This false narrative has been repeatedly pushed by Democrats, including President Joe Biden, who absurdly claimed Antifa is “an idea, not an organization”—a statement ridiculed by law enforcement who have faced Antifa’s brutal attacks firsthand.
Aaron’s extremism doesn’t stop there. In a profanity-laced rant following the 2020 election, he spewed hatred toward Trump supporters, saying, “There’s nothing good to say about [Trump] and I don’t give a fuck about anybody who voted for Trump… You have hate in your heart, you’re a fucking bigot, you’re a fucking racist, you supported kids in cages and you supported hatred.” Such vitriol underscores the left’s intolerance for dissent and their willingness to demonize half the country for supporting President Donald Trump’s America First policies.
While the liberal media glorifies radicals like Aaron, they ignore the real threats posed by Antifa—riots, assaults on conservatives like Andy Ngo, and the destruction of businesses. Meanwhile, President Trump has consistently stood for law and order, vowing in 2020 to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization. His strong leadership contrasts sharply with the Democrats’ refusal to condemn left-wing violence.
