Liberal Media Bias: ‘Meet The Press’ Host Tries To Take Down Trump

On the Sunday morning broadcast of “Meet the Press,” host Kristen Welker took aim at President-elect Donald Trump, trying to push him to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray. But Trump didn’t fall for her liberal media tactics, standing his ground and speaking out against the biased treatment he has received.

In the interview, Welker pressed Trump on whether he planned to fire Wray and replace him with his recent nominee, Kash Patel. Trump responded by expressing his frustration with Wray and the FBI’s handling of the 2022 raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate.

“He invaded my home – I’m suing the country over it,” Trump stated. “I’m very unhappy with the things he’s done and crime is at an all-time high.”

Trump went on to point out the influx of criminals and individuals from mental institutions crossing the border, something he had previously warned about. But Welker continued to try and push her narrative, asking if Wray’s firing was necessary to make way for Patel.

“It would sort of seem pretty obvious that if Kash gets in he’s gonna be taking somebody’s place, right? The somebody is the man that you’re talking about,” Trump said, refusing to play into Welker’s biased questioning.

Welker’s attempt to take down Trump and paint him as unstable and unreliable failed, as Trump expertly navigated her liberal media tactics and stayed on message. This once again showcases the unfair treatment that Trump has received from the liberal media, who continue to try and undermine his leadership and decisions.

Trump’s interview on “Meet the Press” serves as a powerful reminder of the biased reporting that plagues the mainstream media, and how Trump continues to stand up against their attacks. The president-elect is showing no signs of backing down, despite the constant barrage of negative coverage and attempts to discredit him.

The way she asked that question with a straight face is proof enough for me that they’re not a serious network. Not that I needed more…
