The liberal media has been relentlessly pushing Vice President Kamala Harris as the future leader of the country, but according to journalist Mark Halperin, things are not looking good for her in crucial swing states. In fact, Halperin reveals that both Democrats and Trump affiliates he’s spoken to agree that former President Donald Trump is gaining momentum and moving into a stronger position to win these key states.
In private polling that Halperin has seen, Harris is on a poor trajectory and her numbers are not looking good. This is a stark contrast to the image that the liberal media has been trying to portray of her. As Trump and Harris are neck and neck in the top seven battleground states, Halperin says that the latest data shows Trump is actually in a better position to win.
Halperin shares that during his conversations with both Democrats and Trump affiliates, there is a unanimous belief that Trump has a strong chance of winning the last 48 hours of the election. He also points out that six out of the top seven battleground states are in danger for Harris, and the only one that Democrats do not express concern about is Nevada.
The journalist also highlights that while the Democrats are worried about losing these states, Trump affiliates are confident in securing the sun belt states of Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina. They also believe they are stronger in Pennsylvania than Harris, making it difficult for her to win without those rust belt states.
Despite Harris’s attempts to boost her popularity through multiple media appearances, including on podcasts and shows like “The View” and “60 Minutes,” Halperin says it is not enough. These interviews might not even be her best performances, as she tends to excel when nothing horrible happens. Halperin notes that Harris is also not driving a strong message, which could be a significant disadvantage in crucial races.
CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten also weighs in on the situation, saying that if Trump outperforms his 2024 polling by the same margin he did against President Joe Biden in 2020, he would secure enough battleground states to beat Harris by a large margin. This is a significant concern for Democrats who have been banking on Harris as the future of their party.
The liberal media have been actively pushing Harris and her potential as a leader, but as Halperin’s insights and data from Enten show, she is not resonating with voters. In fact, if a polling miss similar to what happened in 2020 occurs, Trump could win in a blowout victory. It is clear that things are not looking good for Harris in the top battleground states, and the liberal media’s attempts to portray her as a strong candidate are unwarranted.
