Once again, CNN has shown its true colors. In an interview with Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters, CNN’s Pamela Brown exhibited a blatant disregard for journalistic integrity, using straw man arguments and loaded questions to attack Walters’ proposal to reintroduce the Bible into public school curriculums. Brown’s questioning appeared to be deliberately misleading and disingenuous, as she repeatedly attempted to steer the conversation towards controversial issues such as violence and pornography.

Brown started the interview with a clear agenda, suggesting that Walters was promoting the teaching of violent acts like beheadings because they are mentioned in the Bible. Walters, however, refused to fall for her manipulative tactics. He firmly stated his belief in teaching children an accurate version of American history, which includes the significant role the Bible played in shaping our nation.

Ignoring Walters’ reasonable response, Brown persisted in pushing her biased narrative. She repeatedly asked the same question, hoping to corner Walters into admitting that teaching the Bible equates to glorifying violence or taboo topics. Walters held his ground, emphasizing that teaching the Bible is about providing children with a comprehensive understanding of their country’s history.

Not satisfied with his answers, Brown escalated her line of questioning by labeling parts of the Bible as “pornographic material.” She compared it to controversial books like “Gender Queer” and “Flamer” which have been included in some school curriculums. Walters firmly dismissed this comparison, stating that the Bible is not on par with these books.

The entire interview was a clear demonstration of Brown’s determination to misconstrue Walters’ words and push her liberal narrative. Instead of engaging in an honest discussion about the benefits of teaching the Bible in schools, she was more intent on painting it as a dangerous and inappropriate text. This is yet another example of how liberal media outlets like CNN prioritize their agenda over reporting the truth.

This isn’t the first time CNN has shown its bias against conservative values. The network consistently promotes progressive ideas while denigrating traditional beliefs. By relentlessly pushing their agenda and attacking anyone who disagrees, they are failing their viewers and undermining the principles of fair and balanced reporting.

It’s high time for the media to stop playing political games and focus on the real issues that affect our country. Journalists should be dedicated to providing unbiased information and fostering healthy debates, not stirring up controversy to promote their own agenda. As American citizens, we deserve better from our media outlets, and it’s time to hold networks like CNN accountable.
