OOPS! Kamala Caught Plagiarizing Multiple Times- Report

Vice President Kamala Harris, co-authored a book on crime, where she has been recently caught for lifting several passages from various sources without proper citation, according to an Austrian professor known for exposing plagiarism. Dr. Stefan Weber, who has a reputation as a “plagiarism hunter,” found over a dozen instances of stolen material in the book, as reported by Christopher Rufo of the Manhattan Institute.

One of the instances exposed by Weber is where Harris allegedly copied material from a 2008 NBC News article, without any citation, regarding graduation rates in city schools. Additionally, paragraphs from a John Jay College of Criminal Justice press release on efforts to address illegal drug markets were also copied verbatim, without proper citation. Furthermore, language describing a nonprofit group was taken directly from an Urban Institute report.

Rufo states, “Taken in total, there is certainly a breach of standards here. Harris and her co-author duplicated long passages nearly verbatim without proper citation and without quotation marks, which is the textbook definition of plagiarism.”

In another instance, Harris apparently relied on Wikipedia as a reliable source and copied long passages from the online encyclopedia without citing the source or using quotation marks. This raises concerns about the accuracy of the information presented in the book.

Ironically, in a section about a New York court program, Harris seemingly drew inspiration from a Bureau of Justice Assistance report on community court programs, but fails to credit the source.

Moreover, Rufo points out that Harris has a history of plagiarizing, as seen in her August rally in Las Vegas where she copied former President Donald Trump’s “no tax on tips” proposal, announced by Trump during a June event. This raises questions about her original ideas and policies as a public figure.

Despite the possibility that Harris may have relied on a ghostwriter to draft her book, it does not excuse her from taking responsibility for the content that bears her name. As Rufo states, “Harris, at the end of the day, put her name on the cover.”

It is concerning that a person in such a high position as the Vice President of the United States has been caught for plagiarizing, not once but multiple times. This raises concerns about her credibility and whether she can be trusted to uphold ethical standards.

In light of these revelations, it is crucial to acknowledge the efforts of individuals like Dr. Stefan Weber, who work tirelessly to uncover instances of plagiarism and uphold academic integrity. As for Harris, it is imperative for her to take responsibility and address the allegations of plagiarism, as it reflects not just on her character but also on her ability to serve as a role model for the nation.
