Once again, the mainstream media has shown its true colors. Fox News host, Harris Faulkner, has had to step in and defend former President Donald Trump from the relentless onslaught of biased reporting. The media’s incessant attempts to use race as a divisive tool is nothing short of disgraceful. It’s high time we call out this unjust treatment and demand fairness in journalism.
Faulkner’s remarks came in response to Trump’s heated interview at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) conference, where he was unfairly targeted by ABC News reporter Rachel Scott and was subjected to unwarranted comments about Vice President Kamala Harris.
Faulkner shed light on the behind-the-scenes efforts to exclude Trump from the event, revealing that so-called “activists” were pushing to revoke NABJ’s invitation to the 45th president of the United States. She also highlighted how Scott’s initial question derailed the panel’s intended focus on crucial issues affecting the black community.
“There were journalists, activists, whatever you want to call people who let their politics show who wanted the NABJ to rescind their offer to have the 45th president of the United States come and sit,” Faulkner stated.
She then rightfully criticized Scott for neglecting to acknowledge a recent assassination attempt on Trump’s life. Her disappointment was palpable as she lamented Scott’s lack of humanity and failure to defuse the tense situation at the beginning of the interview.
“I mean, it did not take much to show humanity, and in that moment, I was so disappointed that that did not happen,” Faulkner explained. “I couldn’t control it, but it got things off to an emotional start, and you and I both know that once that happens and you are interviewing someone, there is an agenda.”
Faulkner also pointed out the hypocrisy of the corporate media, who chose to focus on the initial contentious exchange and Trump’s comments about Harris, while ignoring those who maintained a respectful demeanor throughout the interview.
“I can’t impress upon you how much complicity there is, potential complicity, for mainstream media to lock in on the issue of race and to divide us as a nation further if we don’t carefully call out when we don’t see things being treated fairly,” Faulkner said. “And you know what? I will take some heat from it, for it, rather, in certain circles of journalism. My home is Fox News; our viewers deserve the truth, and that moment was not fair.”
It’s clear that Faulkner’s defense of Trump and her criticism of biased journalism is crucial in today’s politically charged climate. By standing up against this blatant unfairness and exposing the mainstream media’s obsession with race, she is advocating for impartial reporting. As a former president, Trump deserves respect and fairness – something the media seems to have forgotten.
In the face of such biased journalism, Faulkner’s support for Trump is truly commendable. By standing against this blatant unfairness and exposing the media’s attempts to exploit race to divide the nation, she is championing a more balanced and united discourse. It’s high time we recognize that every individual, regardless of their political stance, deserves fair treatment and equal opportunities to voice their opinions.
