It’s high time we put an end to the liberal media’s blatant double standards and selective outrage. In a recent CNN broadcast, anchor Kasie Hunt had the audacity to label the attempted assassination of Donald Trump as a “massive failure by the Secret Service.” When panelist Elliott Williams dared to suggest an “inside job,” Hunt was quick to shut him down, stating, “we don’t want to get into that.”

While Hunt’s refusal to entertain the idea may have been posed as journalistic integrity, it’s hard not to see this as another example of CNN and other left-leaning media outlets’ apparent hypocrisy.

These organizations never fail to emphasize the importance of accurate and verified information, yet they have no qualms about promoting unverified reports that align with their narrative. The baseless Russia collusion story and the recently debunked report about Russian bounties on US troops are prime examples of how these mainstream media outlets disregard truth in favor of agenda-pushing.

It’s telling that not a single CNN panelist backed Trump during this discussion. Instead, the panel was filled with Democratic operatives and Never Trumpers like Karen Finney, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign spokesperson, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former Trump staffer turned critic. This lack of diverse viewpoints underscores CNN’s inherent bias and their reluctance to provide fair and balanced analysis.

The liberal media’s eagerness to stifle any discussion about an inside job connected to Trump’s assassination attempt is predictable. Their aim is clear: control the narrative and deflect from potential shortcomings within the Secret Service or its leadership.

It’s our duty to demand transparency and accountability. We have the right to question and investigate all possibilities, particularly when it concerns the safety of our elected officials. It’s worth noting that the media had no issues speculating and spreading conspiracy theories about the January 6th Capitol riot, so why are they so quick to silence any discussion about an inside job involving Trump?

Williams also raised a crucial point about the role of social media in disseminating misinformation. Yet, once again, the media ignored a key fact: the main source of hate speech and disinformation wasn’t Trump supporters but Democrats and their followers who openly joked about the failed assassination attempt. This double standard and selective outrage is a recurring theme in liberal media, and it’s time we hold them accountable.

In these trying times, we must unite as a nation and demand truth and transparency. We cannot let the media suppress valid discussions and concerns.
