Chris Christie, the former Governor of New Jersey, has expressed his discontent with both major political parties, particularly President Biden. He lambasted Biden for not reaching out to him, even after he publicly declared that he would not endorse Donald Trump in the 2024 elections.

Christie’s refusal to support Trump stems from his belief that Trump is unfit for office. However, this does not mean he is enthusiastic about Biden either – quite the contrary. He has reservations about Biden’s ability to lead effectively due to his advanced age.

“One thing I know for sure now is I’m not voting for Trump under any circumstances,” Christie asserted. “If he’s the only person on the ballot, I’m not voting for Trump, because I know him too well, and he is wholly unfit to be president of the United States in every way you think.”

Despite this clear stance against Trump, Christie was incensed that Biden had not made any attempts to contact him. He referred to this lack of outreach as “stupid”.

“It’s pretty stupid for him not to,” Christie remarked.

Even though Christie has dismissed the idea of a third-party run that could potentially harm Biden more than it would Trump, he still maintains that both Biden and Trump are past their prime as candidates.

“President Biden, in my view, is past the sell-by date,” Christie stated. “Seriously, look at him.”

Recent polls show Trump leading Biden by six points in pivotal swing states. Trump has a lead in places like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, while Biden only has a slim two-point lead in Michigan.
