Protecting Our Borders: Mexico’s Sleazy App for Illegal Immigrants

Mexico is taking steps to protect its citizens in the U.S. with a new app that alerts family and consulate when they are detained by ICE. Mexican Foreign Minister Juan Ramon de la Fuente announced the app at a news conference, saying it has already been tested and “appears to be working very well.”

This move by the Mexican government is a direct response to President Trump’s promise to crack down on illegal immigration and deport millions of individuals. As the number one source of illegal immigration and with the only shared border with the U.S., Mexico must play a critical role in addressing this issue.

Yet, instead of working with the U.S. to address illegal immigration, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has taken a confrontational approach. She has threatened a “response in kind” if Trump moves forward with his threat to impose tariffs on Mexican imports.

Meanwhile, Sheinbaum has also signaled her country’s readiness to accept a massive influx of Mexican nationals once the deportation operation begins. It seems as though she wants it both ways – to appease her liberal supporters while also ensuring Mexico is not hit with costly tariffs.

In reality, it is the hardworking American taxpayers who are footing the bill for illegal immigration and the drugs pouring into our country. Trump’s efforts to secure our borders and enforce our laws are vital to the safety and prosperity of our nation.

Despite the Mexican government’s attempts to undermine Trump’s agenda, it is clear that he is committed to addressing the illegal immigration crisis and keeping our country safe. This app further highlights the need for strong border security and swift action to combat the flow of illegal immigrants.
