It’s a shocking revelation that Senator Josh Hawley has come across, thanks to whistleblowers who have courageously stepped forward. The Biden DHS has been accused of gross negligence by assigning “unprepared and inexperienced personnel” to President Trump – personnel who were not even part of the esteemed Secret Service.

Hawley’s outrage was palpable in his letter addressed to Mayorkas. He wrote, “Whistleblowers with direct knowledge of the event have approached me. They allege that the July 13 rally was handled in a disgracefully careless manner, treating it as a ‘loose’ security event.”

He further highlighted the glaring inadequacies in security measures, stating, “Detection canines, typically employed for monitoring entry and detecting threats, were conspicuously absent. This lapse allowed individuals without proper designations to infiltrate restricted backstage areas.”

The senator didn’t mince words while pointing out how the personnel failed miserably at their job. “Department staff did not maintain an adequate security buffer around the podium nor were they regularly stationed around the event’s security perimeter,” he pointed out.

Hawley’s outrage intensified upon learning about allegations suggesting most of DHS officials present were not even USSS agents but were from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). He wrote, “This is deeply troubling considering that HSI agents are unfamiliar with standard protocols generally employed at these types of events,”, thereby echoing whistleblower allegations.
