President Trump’s DOGE to Pursue ‘Mass Reductions,’ Fight Bureaucratic ‘Pushback’
In a recent interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, DOGE co-leader Vivek Ramaswamy outlined his plans for the new Department of Government Efficiency, which he and Elon Musk have been tapped to lead by President Donald Trump. The agency’s main goal is to make the federal government more efficient by eliminating unnecessary agencies and cutting spending.
Ramaswamy stated, “We expect mass reductions. We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright. We expect mass reductions en force in areas of the federal government that are bloated.” This bold move is already facing pushback from both the Left and entrenched interests within the government, but Ramaswamy and Musk are determined to see their mission through.
Ramaswamy also addressed concerns about pushback from Congress and agency leaders, stating that many congressional allies “have their heart in the right place,” but have been unable to make real change in the past.
He emphasized that as businessmen coming from the outside, he and Musk have a unique perspective and determination to make quick and effective changes to the government. Ramaswamy also praised President Trump for his “creativity and open-mindedness” in setting up the DOGE for success.

In order to achieve their goals, Ramaswamy stated that DOGE will be making “mass reductions,” shutting down entire federal agencies and cutting federal contractors who have been over-billing the government.
He also highlighted the agency’s end date of July 4, 2026, showing that they are committed to making efficient and lasting changes to the government. Despite the challenges and pushback they may face, Ramaswamy remains optimistic, stating that many congressmen are “quietly on our side” and will respond to the will of the people.
The mainstream media may downplay or criticize DOGE’s efforts, but their determination and focus on accountability and efficiency is exactly what America needs.

The Supreme Court’s support of their actions will also give them the legal backing they need to move quickly and effectively. The DOGE’s mission will not be easy, but with strong leadership and support from the Trump administration, we can expect great changes and improvements in the federal government.
