Once again, we see the lawlessness that is all too common among those who should be its guardians. Christina Peterson, Douglas County’s Probate Judge, has been arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer in Atlanta, Georgia. This is yet another glaring example of Democrats showing utter disregard for law and order.

The incident unfolded when an Atlanta Police officer, who was off-duty but working at a restaurant, noticed a woman in distress.

The officer approached the woman with the intent to help, only to be violently struck on the head by Peterson. She was described as appearing “under the influence,” showing total contempt for her public office and the authority it represents.

In a further display of disdain for law enforcement, she refused to identify herself after being arrested and transported to jail. This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable, especially from someone in her position.

Peterson now faces serious charges including felony obstruction of a police officer and simple battery against a police officer. This is just another instance of Democrats’ blatant disrespect for our courageous law enforcement officers.
