Fed up with the baseless fearmongering of leftists like Jonathan Capehart and Maxine Waters, it’s high time we focus on the facts. The recent episode of MSNBC’s The Saturday Show is a prime example of their biased rhetoric. Host Jonathan Capehart had California Democratic Representative Maxine Waters as his guest, who is infamous for her claim about receiving death threats from a Texas man. As expected, the discussion quickly spiraled into a panic-inducing session about the potential violence under a second Donald Trump presidency.
Capehart kicked off the conversation by highlighting an increase in threats against lawmakers from both parties, as reported by Capitol police. He then brought Waters into the picture, noting her presence at the trial of an individual accused of issuing death threats against her.
Waters went on to disclose that this man had threatened to “put a bullet between my eyes” and “cut my throat.” She further alleged that he had collaborators in Los Angeles plotting to harm her.
However, Capehart conveniently overlooked one crucial detail: Waters herself has incited harassment towards Trump officials in public, potentially sparking violence. In 2018, she made headlines when she urged her followers to “create a crowd” and “push back” on Trump officials whenever they encountered them.
Despite this, Capehart exhibited little empathy for Waters and instead shifted the dialogue towards the hypothetical scenario of a second Trump term. He posed the question to Waters, “How concerned are you about your safety if Donald Trump is reelected?”
Waters responded with an unfounded assertion that Trump is specifically targeting racist individuals with his speeches and endangering people of color. She declared, “It’s about thousands, maybe millions of people…being at risk because of Donald Trump and his desire to wreak revenge on anything and everybody.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Capehart made a veiled reference to three civil rights activists who were killed by the Ku Klux Klan, leading Waters to suggest that “we could be in for more killings like that.” This claim aligns with the leftist tendency of highlighting death threats directed at those on their side.
It’s hardly surprising that leftists like Capehart resort to scare tactics to portray a grim and perilous image of a potential second Trump term. They conveniently ignore Waters’ call for violence against Trump officials, while using her experience to instill fear and demonize Trump supporters.
The reality is far from what they project. Trump has consistently denounced violence and advocated for unity and peaceful protests during his campaign rallies. It’s the left that persistently incites violence and hatred, not Trump.
A second Trump term would signify sustained economic growth, a firm stance against China, and enhanced national security. It would also involve reversing disastrous policies implemented by the Obama administration, such as the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris Climate Agreement.
On the other hand, a government led by Waters and her leftist cohorts would introduce radical and dangerous policies, including defunding the police and promoting open borders, resulting in a surge in crime and disorder.
The scare tactics employed by leftists like Maxine Waters and Jonathan Capehart are groundless and unwarranted. A second Trump term would ensure continued prosperity for America, while a leftist government would only breed division and ruin.
