Former Director of New York ICE Removals Tom Feeley appeared on Saturday’s episode of Fox & Friends to discuss the recently released data on criminal migrants in the U.S. According to Feeley, the data, which revealed that thousands of illegal migrants with serious criminal histories are roaming free in the country, exposes the hypocrisy of Vice President Kamala Harris’ statements on immigration.
Feeley began by stating that the shocking data proves that “everything Vice President Kamala Harris says about immigration is a lie.” The data, released by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), shows that there are 13,099 non-citizens in the U.S. who have been convicted of homicide and 15,811 convicted of sexual assault, but have not been detained by ICE.
According to Feeley, the timing of the release of this data is significant, as it came on the same day that Harris made a trip to the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona to unveil a supposedly stricter immigration stance. He argued that this demonstrates Harris’ hypocrisy, as she has previously made statements that indicate she will not enforce immigration laws and plans to close all detention centers.
Feeley continued to express his frustration with Harris, stating, “let me get this right, Kamala. You’re not enforcing the laws now, but if you pass a new bill, then you’ll enforce the laws? This, quite frankly, is all bullshit. Every American should be pissed and disgusted because this is all crap.”
He went on to speculate that the real numbers of criminal migrants in the U.S. are likely double what was released by ICE. Feeley disclosed that there are currently over 662,566 non-citizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket, which includes both those detained and not detained. He also stated that he believes the border was the “most secure it’s ever been” under former President Donald Trump.
According to Feeley, the policies implemented by the Biden-Harris administration are what ultimately led him to retire from his position. He claimed that they “undid everything” Trump had put in place and ordered ICE not to enforce immigration laws. As someone who believes in his country and the Constitution, Feeley stated that he would not follow such directives.
Feeley strongly criticized Harris and the Biden-Harris administration for their handling of immigration and the border. He argued that their policies have led to a “total failure,” and no one will be held accountable for it. He also expressed his frustration with the current state of affairs and called on all Americans to be outraged by the situation.
