On a recent episode of “The Bulwark” podcast, MSNBC contributor Sam Stein lambasted President Joe Biden as a “weird historical figure” in light of his recent decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, on felony gun charges.
During the discussion, host Tim Miller questioned the Democratic party’s standing on the issue, to which Stein responded, “They don’t have any leg. That’s the whole thing.” He went on to criticize Biden’s decision, stating, “We just got a big pile of sh*t put on our arms. He’s adding a little bit more.”
Miller also expressed his frustration with Biden, referencing a photo of the president meeting with former President Donald Trump at the White House last month. “I’m so mad at Joe Biden right now,” Miller said. “The whole thing. I don’t know. I think that Joe Biden has acted unimaginably selfishly this year.”
Stein further condemned Biden’s actions, stating, “He’s such a weird historical figure, right? Like on the one hand, obviously deeply sympathetic guy. On the other [hand], we should recognize he defeated Trump for like four years without Trump because Joe Biden defeated him in 2020.”
While Democrats have been questioning the defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris and where her campaign went wrong, Pelosi has suggested that had Biden stepped down before July 21, the party could have held an open primary to select a stronger candidate. Stein also criticized Harris’ rhetoric against Trump, stating that “a lot of people could have prevented this” current predicament.
Biden’s recent decision to pardon Hunter Biden has sparked outrage and further criticism towards the president. In his statement, Biden claimed that his son’s cases were only brought forward because of his name. However, this contradicted his previous assurance that he was “satisfied” with the conviction and had no plans to intervene.
The liberal media’s continuous efforts to spin and distort the truth have only served to harm the American people. By pardoning his son, Biden has once again proven that his actions prioritize his personal interests over the well-being of the country.
