Watch: The View’s Sunny Hostin Blames Elon Musk for 300,000 Deaths

In yet another hyperbolic and fact-free tirade on The View, co-host Sunny Hostin claimed that Elon Musk’s tenure at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led to the deaths of 300,000 people, “mostly children.” Without providing a shred of evidence, Hostin declared:

“He slashed 250,000 federal employees, more than 8500 contracts, more than 10,000 grants, and his cutbacks on medical research cost the lives of — the foreign aid — cost 300,000 lives, mostly children.”

The absurdity of this claim was met with zero pushback from her co-hosts, including Whoopi Goldberg, who instead quipped, “Elon knows the 411 on everything.” Joy Behar then bizarrely connected Musk to election conspiracy theories, adding, “So Trump should be afraid of him. He has the receipts on the election, too.”

This is the same show that compared January 6th to the Holocaust and chattel slavery, with Hostin herself calling it “one of the worst moments in American history.” Now, she’s peddling another wild narrative to smear a successful entrepreneur and, by extension, the Trump administration’s push for government efficiency.

Hostin’s latest rant is part of a disturbing pattern in the liberal media—fabricating catastrophes to villainize conservatives and business leaders who challenge the bureaucratic status quo. While The View hosts hyperventilate over imaginary body counts, President Trump continues to deliver real results: record-low unemployment, energy independence, and a stronger economy—all while enduring relentless smears from the left.

Earlier this year, Hostin even urged Democrats to “fight and die” against Trump, proving just how unhinged the resistance has become. “The Baby Boomers, the civil rights generation — they knew what they had to do,” she ranted. “They were willing to fight and die for their rights. This generation of Congress, they are not meeting the moment. This is an existential crisis.”

Meanwhile, the real existential crisis is the liberal media’s addiction to hysteria, where facts are optional, and emotional manipulation is the priority. While The View fearmongers, President Trump remains focused on putting America first—whether the left likes it or not.
