The Biden administration is once again embroiled in allegations of racial discrimination, this time involving the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and a loan forgiveness program that reportedly excluded white farmers. A whistleblower has come forward, revealing that the Biden USDA, under Secretary Tom Vilsack, deliberately structured the program to benefit only non-white farmers—echoing the infamous Pigford scandal of the Obama era.
The original Pigford settlement, brokered during the Clinton administration, was meant to address alleged discrimination against black farmers. However, under President Obama, the program ballooned into a $1.33 billion payout that extended to Hispanic, Native American, and female farmers—many of whom had never even filed discrimination claims. As the New York Times later admitted, the program was riddled with fraud, with claims filed by “nursery-school-age children” and urban residents who had never farmed. That was the only qualification for this loan forgiveness,” the whistleblower revealed. The source added that officials “were trying to keep this hushed because of the obvious implications of race-based loan forgiveness.”
